29 Weeks

Happy 29 weeks everyone! I must apologize about the weird picture the doctor took. I just could not get the umbilical cord out of the way...there is not a lot of room in here you know. I am about 2.11 pounds and just over 15 inches long. Dr. Kirshon said I am running 5 days ahead of schedule, but Dr. Miller will not change the due date. So, it looks like I may still see you guys on the 10th.

Right now, my brain is developing wrinkles (I am getting really smart like my dad), my bones are getting strong, and my lungs are developing further. I am really busy! My mom is really excited to see me...she is nagging Dad about keeping things clean. Dad is really working hard to master the guitar for me. I love listening him to him play. HE ROCKS!

Love you guys and I'll see you in about 11 weeks.

21 weeks

Hey Everyone,
I am so sorry it has been 7 weeks since my last entry. I wanted to wait and show you my new look. How do you like my pose in the picture? I have been practicing it…along with my dancing. I LOVE music! Dad will turn up the music on car rides and I go to town. Oh man, the other Sunday Mom sang in church and I was dancing on stage. I think I want to be the next Disney star…we’ll see. By the way, I want to give a shout out to Donkey Conclusion. You guys ROCK!

Mom and Dad here. Thank you for following Kenny’s blog. We are getting ready for the big day. We are past half way to the Ewing Dynasty debut! Wahoo! The nursery is painted and the registry is started.

Little Kenny is so lucky to have so many people who love him already. Stay tuned for updates!

Week 14- the countdown is on!

Hello to all my OOWFs! (out of womb friends)

Kenneth Harrison here, from inside the womb.

It has been a great week. Mom, dad and I went to the doctor for a regular check up. Mom and I passed with flying colors. Good thing too because I want to hit the ground running, healthy and strong for my first day in the outside world. Speaking of being healthy and strong, I am so appreciative to my mom for keeping in good shape. We walk almost everyday and I know she is eating healthy foods...because we share.

Thing in the womb are happening fast, not fast enough in my opinion. I am ready to be born! It has been a busy week for my development. My bones are growing stronger and I am growing hair. It is coming in on my head, eyebrows and hopefully a beard, yeah! I am getting some manly chest hair too. Don't worry I am not a wolf boy, not howling at the moon anyway. Actually it is very fine hair growing all over my body and will shed before I make my arrival. This week, much to my relief I was finally able to pee. Let me tell you it is tough holding it for 14 weeks.

It sounds like things outside the womb are pretty busy as well. Now that my ears have fully developed I can eaves drop on mom and dad. It sounds like they are getting everything ready for my big debut. I can not wit to meet everyone!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! On August 17, 2009 I will have my next photo shoot. Until then i will be working on a new pose. I have heard good things about "Blue Steel".

The Results Are In!

Breaking news....I'M A BOY!

Well dad knew it all along. Today was quite exciting. We all went to the doctor and mom and dad got some cool pictures of me. They caught my good side so I was cool with it. I tried to strike a pose the best I could, considering I had the hiccups. Hollywood here I come.

I know mom and dad got to listen to my heart because the doctor amplified it. I could hear it all the way back in the womb! I was thumping the bass. He said it sounded good and strong. I am a just under 4" long (rounding up) and about 1.5 ounces.

The rapid growth of my head is finally slowing down so the rest of my body can catch up...THANK GOODNESS! From the profile pics the doctor took it looks like I will have mom's nose. My eyes are starting to get a little closer, Dad said he is happy that I no longer look like an alien, thanks dad I already feel loved. As you can see in my picture, my ears are huge. I am hoping to grow into them and soon. I guess I have my Great Grandpa Kenneth to thank for that, appreciate you.

Oh my gosh- I almost forgot something totally awesome happened today. It actually is the coolest thing since my conception. I now have a name!!! Kenneth Harrison Ewing, sounds presidential doesn't it? (Laugh- laugh, wink- wink for all those in the know) I sure am glad that my parents picked a good name. Especially since I did not get a say in it, I sure hope they do not get used to that.

Well that pretty much sums it up. Watch for my update next week. Until then I will be just floating and growing.

12 Week IWB!

Wow today is my 12 week IWB (in-womb birthday). I had really wanted to start blogging a couple of weeks ago when my fingers developed. My parents asked me to wait until my 12 week IWB.

So...hello world and thanks for stopping by my blog!

So much has happened over the last 12 weeks. I have grown considerably in size since my conception. I am around 3 inches long and weighing in at nearly an ounce. My head is a little big, nearly half the size of my body, don't worry I will grow into it.

To celebrate my IWB I decided to give my mom a little treat and let her know where I was. I am sure it gave her a little flutter and chills all over. I can tell she loves me very much and is going to be a great mom. I can not wait to meet her on my "big day". I am excited to meet my dad also. He likes to talk to me (now that I have ears); I like when he tells me good morning and that he loves me.

Exciting news! I will be going to a special doctor on July 6th who may be able to give me an idea if I will be a boy or girl. It is not the most accurate test, however the anticipation is almost too much. By the way did you fill out my survey? Please do, and feel free to leave a comment below.
